Wedding Decorations For Sale In Winnipeg

(12-03-2011) San Vicente de la Barquera - Comillas - The Valley - San Vicente - Circular MTB Route

Today we landed on the beach of San Vicente de la Barquera to the intention of making a smooth path in step BTT and discover some corners of the area.

We left the beach parking Lantern, abounding in vans for surfers.

We headed towards the main road as we watch the beautiful Ria de San Vicente.

A map of the route placed (click for larger image)

Before leaving the general roundabout turn left us in the direction of Oyambre.

We took a road that runs parallel to the coast.

crossed some small town ...

... while losing sight of the now empty beaches.

During this first part of the route on several occasions left the asphalt to "explore" certain tracks that never have continuity, so that we have no time to enjoy a views and return to the road.

Moving to the height of the house in the village of La Guerruca Oyambre take the detour, again without knowing very well where we are headed.

crossed the little town and decided to take that track out to the left of that ship ...

... and that for a tramillo continue letting us enjoy a beautiful panorama, but a few minutes to reach the end of the track at the edge of the cliffs, taking you back again on our feet road the main road.

Now we turn left in the direction of Comillas.

Comodo descent.

Turning to the height of the beach Oyambre.

Comillas continue road passing near the marshes of Oyambre.

At the height of the marsh area created a "bidegorri" or bike lane is part of the way of Santiago (Camino del Norte). We take it and continue pedaling.

spent the bridge over the Ria de La Rabia and finish this just the bidegorri.

We now take a comfortable ride parallel to the road that leads to the gates of Comillas.

past the town of La Rabia cross almost without realizing the people of Rubarcena ...

... and reach the population of Comillas. University from the entrance rotunda.

At the same roundabout take a walk on the right side that goes into a small park ...

... and take us to give the hills with this spectacular building: the Palace of Sobrellano.

Following the tour and already down to the center of town we passed the building's most famous quotes: El Capricho de Gaudi.

Hala, to read it a bit of culture will come not bad ...
We

a pedaling through the village and inform us in the tourist office of a variant for the return to San Vicente: deremos undo gone up after crossing the bridge over the river ...

... take the bike path until it ends and generally leave the cross to take almost in front a paved road that climbs to the town of El Tejo.

Climbing one of the few hills.

The road is part of the Northern Way (Camino de Santiago) and therefore is marked with arrows, so yes, we must be attentive at intersections to see painted on rocks or light poles.

That road leads to a junction where you turn left clicking to another more widely.

spend the little village of Santana (no, the player is not here ...), arrive at The Valley and crossed it by following the arrows that we find.

"A lot of space and little bull."

On the outskirts of the Valley took a gravel road that brings us down to a golf course.

Curious as to cross midfield: those with carts and clubs and giving us as pedals.

spent next to the Ermita de Santa Marina, which gives its name to the golfing resort.

Attentive to detail: Look where it has been to grow this tree.

continue always straight along the road.

to get to the main road crossing the 635 that will take us to San Vicente de la Barquera and that was that utlizabamos all before them to build the freeway (and obnoxious huge jams that we ate here when we were going or returning from Picos Europe on the weekends).

Down towards the entrance of San Vicente.

Just before the roundabout before the bridge turn right to thread the path towards the beach parking, start and end of this easy and pleasant route that ultimately has led to 29 km of pedaling.
